Even though we aren't in school yet, for the last two years we've attended the Homecoming Parade, because it goes right through our neighborhood. The girls have fun seeing the band and all the floats but most of all getting candy with all their friends. It was cold today. And it got colder as the parade went on. So much that as we walked home, I looked at my sweater and saw ice. It was sleeting. We warmed up with hot cocoa and some of their loot. The new Cinderella (Blu-Ray) came in the mail today so the girls watched that as Daddy went to watch the Cardinal game with his guy friends and we went to have pizza and ice cream with the girls next door.

All bundled up. She looks happy here, but she was miserable in all her layers. She eventually gave in to me pushing the stroller back and forth and back and forth on the sidewalk 80000 times and went to sleep
