Little Blurbs

"Have you seen my credit card?" was a question I asked my three year old today. I didn't expect to ask her that for ten more years.

Audrey has my phone and I hear, click click click click click. And I say, "Audrey, stop taking pictures" and she says, "I'm not taking pictures Mommy, I'm making cupcakes. " Well, of course then. They have apps for everything.

If I could get my eleven month old to sleep through the night on a consistent basis, without waking up and vomiting, I may consider having a third child. But Allie is trying hard to hold onto her position as baby of this family. My mother told me recently that there are no absolutes in parenting. There is no guarantee that she will ever sleep through the night. Again, another point for "we're done!"

My three year old is obsessed with music from Mamma Mia. That, and the Hello song from Kindermusik. Every time we get in the car, "Mom, will you turn on number 1 from Kindermusik?" She even knows what track it is, for fear not if Grandma or someone else is driving, they will know which song to play. When she asks to hear a song from Mamma Mia, she'll say the entire song as the title. "Mom, can we listen to, Mamma Mia, here I go again, my my how can I resist you?" I heard her the other day singing the lyrics to another MM song "if I had a little money, it's a rich man's world..." Made me laugh but I said to Jeremy, more Veggie Tales for Christmas, less musicals.
