Spooky Lunch

Our neighbor hosts a Spooky Lunch for the kids every Halloween. Kids dress up, parents make creepy festive food and the kids play. This year, she added a pumpkin decorating contest. Since not everyone seemed to get the memo, and we were the only ones outside her immediate family to participate, we won! Which hardly seemed fair, since 5 minutes before the party I reminded Jeremy we still hadn't carved or decorated pumpkins. He disappears and comes back with the pieces to Mr. Potato Head. He sticks them in the pumpkin, and wa-lah. We had an entry.

It was a tad frigid this year at the Spooky Lunch as it was 60 degrees the day before and closer to 40 with a biting wind the day of the party. Despite the coats, hats, scarves, mittens and rain, the kids still played and had fun.

Allie is dressed as Pascal and with her furry hat and the green outfit, she looks like a character out of the Wizard of Oz.

the kids attacked Jeremy, playfully
Look at Allie, not so sure she likes all those kids on her Daddy

She ran to him and started crying. She didn't like it at all.
